so i got the results for my bachelor's thesis.
i got the highest score.

?!?!?!?!

well, actually you can only get three kinds of scores: failing, passing, and passing well. whatever that means. "underkänd, godkänd och väl godkänd" in swedish. so i got the slightly higher "väl godkänd"... ain't that nice. and strange, as i personally think my thesis is just......something i did in order to get it done. well, apparently that's all that it takes sometimes. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY I'VE GRADUATED FROM UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE WHATEVER IT'S CALLED IN ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WWWOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now i'm looking forward to a year or two of taking it easy, maybe working a shitty job or two. the plan is to work at WHATEVER JOB I GET (read: anything except calling people trying to sell useless shit) and then gather a big enough amount of money to travel. the future seems quite blank at the moment. open, vast and unknown. i'm feeling terrified and free at the same time. which is actually exactly how i want to feel right now. how i need to feel right now, i think.

we'll see.

and soon i'm back in dear finland again. oh how homesick i've been.

a poem about my life at the moment (and no it doesn't rhyme as i'm too lazy and tired to try to rhyme)

so much to be done
that can't be done yet
a stressed little monster in my chest
gnawing

trying to ignore it
and go about my life
but oh, what life?
i have no life anymore

the sun is shining
and it's warm outside
i don't go outside
anymore.

i know i should.

i want to graduate
and move on
i want a dishwasher
and a homewasher
i want to be able to run

i dreamt i couldn't walk anymore
because of my knee
so i had to ride on a large dog
somehow, it was my seeing eye dog
because losing my ability to walk naturally meant
i was blind as well
but still, somehow i must have been able to see
because we went to see a movie
in somebodys ultra-modern home.
and then the room (it was a kitchen)
flied away, down the street
and i realized that the people who lived there
were aliens.
but they were kind aliens.

i watch tv-shows in the morning
to try to forget that i don't have a life anymore
by watching other people's constructed lives
i can play along
i'm waiting for the summer to begin
waiting
without actually having the time to wait
and still somehow i find the time
to watch tv-shows

cosmopolitans & chipmunks

surprise  surprise... i'm hung over. i think i'm measuring the amount of alcohol wrong somehow when mixing drinks. also, cosmopolitans are quite strong. when i mix them, at least.

BUT i was so happy from receiving quite good feedback on the first part of my thesis from my instructor, so  i had a good reason to celebrate! then again, i sure would like to learn doing so without getting so hung over. haven't been drunk for some weeks so i guess i kind of forgot. oh well.

now i have some other incredibly pointless news: did you know there's a CHIPMUNK DISGUISE in hitman absolution? i didn't. was playing it and walked into a shed. there was a disguise on the table, so i thought "well, that's handy, this way i can pass unnoticed among the guards" but, guess what: the guards do get suspicious if a man in a chupmunk suit is sneaking around. so it really wasn't that handy. but at least it gave me a laugh.

now i'll go play some more hitman absolution and see what other disguises i can find.

drinking games

i'm drunk. everynody's drunk. everybody's losing. this'll be an interesting evening.

last night, i looked through all the things i've reblogged on tumblr.
i do this every once in a while, i find it calming to look through my collection of inspiring pictures.
and there are always certain pictures that bring a smile to my face. for different reasons.
so, i decided to post a small best of collection, containing some of my favorites. ta-dah.

winter wonderland

sorry for the lame title, but that is honestly the only thing this town can be called right now.
so much white eveywhere, and so cold that the air is filled with sparkling ice crystals.

also, today there was this fog over the town, so it looked like something out of a dream.

i don't even mind that my fingers freeze to death as i try to photograph everything
it's so beautiful.

i will now abandon my life for two weeks

the next two weeks there's a film festival in the small town i live in. to be honest, it's the most interesting thing happening here for the entire year.

so, needless to say, i bought a festival card - granting me the right to see every movie. so that's what i'll be doing every afternoon and night after school for the next weeks. 

sooo looking forward to the premiere this evening. and before the movie there'll be "mingling" for everyone with festival cards, including food(!), they told me. hoping this means a four course dinner. probably doesn't.
